In Loving Memory of Rolly Simoneau May 8th, 1964 – January 9, 2017
Passed away suddenly in his home on Monday, January 9, 2017, Rolly Simoneau, 52, in the company of his loving wife and best friend, Theresa Mills.
Rolly also leaves to mourn his daughter Samantha, son-in-law Paul (Hatzis) and their children Johnny and Kallie, and son Jacob. Rolly was the youngest son of Gerry and Jacquie Simoneau (predeceased) and youngest brother of Claire Trottier (Yvon), Pauline England, Annette Gamey (Jim), Jack (Suzanne Graham), Rita predeceased, Yvette Dowdall (Pete), Lucille Simoneau (Peter Higham), Joanne Lamirande (Gil), and Bob (Monica).
Rolly was a cousin, an uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a cherished friend to those who relished his unique sense of humour and his jovial spirit.
He was a favourite brother-in-law to Theresa’s large family of siblings and a barrel of fun at family functions.
Rolly was a fisherman and an outdoor enthusiast who loved a good fire, a cold beer, lots of laughs and the company of good friends. He was happiest surrounded by those he loved and those who made him laugh the loudest. His fish frys were legendary and his laugh contagious. “Rolls” truly enjoyed a good time.
Public Visitation will be held at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Saturday, January 14, 2017 - 2-4 pm followed by a celebration of Rolly’s life at 4 pm in the Chapel.
