The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, January 20, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late François “Frank” Collin. Daughter of the late Louis and the late Emilia (née Lalonde) Shank . Loving mother of Denis (Suzanne) and Jacques (Debbie). Dear sister of Rita Malette (Jean) and May Paradis (George). Predeceased by her siblings Leonie Lachance, Alice Lachance, Emanuel (Jeanne), Leo and Jean. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Dean, Leanne (Kyle), Julie and Amanda. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff on the 4th floor at Extendicare York for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 from 11 to 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, Sudbury. Donations can be made (by cheque only) to the Sam Bruno PET Scanner Fund.
