It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of 60 years to Gaëtane Carriere (née Gauthier) of Sudbury. Dear father of Gilles (Diane) of Sudbury, Marc (Diane) of Sudbury and Paul (Sue) of Bradford. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sophie, Eric, Justin, Luc, Julie (Gilles), Angèle (John), by his great-grandchildren Danielle, Ella, Brielle as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with Laurent’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson Canada-Sudbury Chapter or Alzheimer Society can be made by cheque or online at cooperativefuneralhome.ca
