It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jean-Noël Leclair on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at the age of 89 years one month short of his 90th birthday. Son of the late Omer Leclair and late Marie-Laure (née Kingsley). Beloved husband to late Marcelle Leclair (née Carrière). Loving father of Dianne Brunet (Léo) (late Yvon Tremblay), Colette Larocque (Gaëtan) and Michel Leclair (Brenda). Dear brother of Jeannine Rivard of Ottawa. Predeceased by his siblings Lucien, Rolland, Richard and Rhéal Leclair. Cherished grandfather of Joanne, Chantal, Suzanne, Alain, Mathieu, Chelsey, Bryan and Shannon. Great-grandfather of Mackenzy-Lee, Braden, Avery, Kendra, Anna-Rose, Russ, Logan, Jaxyn, Aiden, Sophie and Hendrix. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Elizabeth Centre for wonderful care given to our father. In keeping with Jean-Noël’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
