It is with great sorrow, that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Son of the late Hector and Edwidge (née Picard) Soucy. Predeceased by his wife Annette (née Bard) Soucy. Loving father of Normand (Patricia) and Linda Colville (Jim) both of Portage, Ind, Roger (Becky) of Dowagiac, Mich, Lorraine Quirion (Yvon) of Southington, Ct, Donald (Sue) of Westville, Gilbert “Gil” (Doreen) and Rock (Tina) both of Clarkville, Tenn. Predeceased by his son Claude. Beloved companion of Frieda Collins. Dear brother of Gerald (Cecile), Leo Paul (Georgette), Rino (Rachelle), Carmen Levasseur (Edgar) and Rosanne Chassé (Joël). Predeceased by his brothers Gerard (late Germaine), Pierre (Lorraine), Jean (Louise) and by his sisters Georgette Drouin (André) and Claudette. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 grandchildren and 1 son-in-law. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St-Dominique Church, Sudbury.
