The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Susan (née Connors) Legendre. Son of the late Leo and the late Simone Levesque (late Theodore). Loving father of Eric Legendre (Jocelyne) and Colin Legendre (Christine). Dear brother of Laurent Legendre and Marguerite Levesque. Cherished grandfather of Christian, Aaron, Asha, Eleeka and Alexie. Roger was an avid sports fan, physical education teacher, coach, umpire, and stats man. He always enjoyed being around the ball fields. He will be missed by many friends and colleagues he met over the years through his many connections in the sports community. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Wednesday, March 29th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 30th at 10:30 a.m at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
