The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, March 27, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Rita (née Blanchette) Lalonde of Sudbury. Dear son of the late Bertha (née Plante) Lalonde and the late Jean Lalonde. Loving father of David ( late Rose) of Toronto, Robert (Muriel) of Sudbury, Lucille Sommers (Victor) and Alice Lalonde (Roger Duval) of Hagar and Arthur both of Sudbury. Dear brother of 11 brothers and 3 sisters. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 17. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St-Andrew-the-Apostle Church, Sudbury.
