The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Wife of the late Carson Cole. Daughter of the late Paul and the late Gracia (née Groulx) Simon. Beloved mother of Jim (Heather), John (Naomi) (late Paula), Brian (Irene), Vivianne Tessier (Don) and Suzanne Moreau (Bob). Predeceased by her son Ron. Dear sister of Monique Olson, Gisèle Simon (friend Jean Brassard), Rachelle Leblanc (Jean-Guy), Claudette Lafontaine (friend Andy), Lucille (late Ray), Gérard (Françoise), Richard (Joanne) and Doris (Gail). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Claire Violet (Roger), Eva Roy (Normand), Marie Therrien (Rene), Noëlla Simon, Lucien (Yvette), John-Paul (Lorraine) and Aurel. Lorraine will be sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mom enjoyed being at camp and loved going for long drives. We wish to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at ICU at Health Sciences North and Dr. De Blacam for the care and compassion toward our mother. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
