The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Wahnapitae, Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband to late Bernadette Marie Pomerleau. Son of late Armand Pomerleau and late Lina Pomerleau. Loving father to Hélène Francis (Raymond Allen), Gilles Pomerleau (Cathy) and Anne Savard (Adrien). Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters. Loving grandfather to Justin (Amanda), Evan (Kayla), Jennifer, Danielle (Cesare) and Julia (Joey). Great-grandfather to Prestyn, Austin, Aiden, EJ, Ryder, Logan, Ethan, Alexander and Adrianna. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He worked at INCO for 37 years in the Copper Refinery. Wilfrid had a strong passion for hunting with his son, fishing and playing with all his grandkids. He was also a 3rd degree member of the knights of Columbus of Coniston.
