The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Haileybury, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of Roland Chouinard of Dowling and the late Claude Pellerin. Daughter of the late Oscar and late Germaine (née Pilon) Dumont. Loving mother of Suzanne Forget (Robert), Diane Leckie (Ken), Richard Pellerin (Darlene), Ivan Chouinard (Danielle) and predeceased by her daughter Marie. Dear sister of Lucien Dumont (Carol), Thérèse Pellerin, François Dumont (Lucille), Jean-Paul Dumont(Marguerite), Carmen Dumont and Richard Dumont (Judy). Predeceased by her sister Marie and her brother Omer (Flore). Cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 14. Lovingly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Tri Town for all their care and compassion. Fernande worked at Bell Canada for 29 years and considered the Bell girls her second family. She also played Mrs. Santa Claus for over 21 years in the Sudbury area, always had a smile for everyone. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Monday, April 17th, 2017 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 at 12 p.m. at St-Stephen the Martyr Church, Dowling.
