Predeceased by his wife Lise (née Vincent) Caya. Son of the late Francois and the late Marie-Reine (née Beauchamps) Caya. Beloved father of Lynn (Ray) Pike, Francine (Kelvin), Robert, Noel Jr. (Denise), Richard (Cindy), Anne (Carl), and Joanne (Brian). Predeceased by his son Marc Caya. Dear brother of Gaston and Yolande. Predeceased by his brother and sisters, George, Fernande, Marguerite, Lise and Yvonne. Cherished grandfather of Ray Jr. (Rebecca), Scott (Nicole), Derek (Tamara), Sandra, Allan, Natasha, Urick, Robert Jr., Chantal, Kory, Stéphanie, Josée, Richard Jr., Justin, Joel, Jacob, Kelsey, Karissa, Michelle, Janelle and great-grandfather of Tamara, Tai, Mia, Ezralynn, Olund, Eleanor, Zendaya, Liberty, Caleb, London, Madisson, Cowen, Camille, Evelyn, Kennedy, Andie, Kayla, Alex, Emma, Samantha, Kashtin and Aria. He was a big part of our lives and has left us to spend time with his loved ones especially his son Marc. He was a man who left a lasting impression on others who met him with his constant positive energy and respect. He was never one to complain, his "joie de vivre" was inspiring. He was an avid lover of the outdoors where he was his happiest. He lived by the golden rule of don't do onto others what you don't want done to you and where there's a will there's a way. As per his request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 19 at 11:30 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. We would like to thank the staff at the McCulloch Hospice and at Health Sciences North 4th floor North and 6th floor South for the great service they provided during this difficult time. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or to the Northern Cancer Foundation can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
