The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Husband of the late Hélène Prud’homme. Son of the late Joséphat and the late Marie-Rose Barrette (née Giguère). Loving father of Carmen Dalcourt (Gilles), Evelyn St-Denis (Richard), Joanne Lemay (Denis) and Louise Poirier (Luc). Predeceased by his son Marc (Carmen). Sadly missed by many step-children. Dear brother of Laurianna Lachapelle, Réjeanne Séguin, Marceline Mainville (Bruno) and Armand. Predeceased by his siblings Fernande Nadeau, Gaston (Pat), Rose-Alice McLean and Emilienne Lapierre. Roger will also be missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
