It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Louise Grenier, 74 years old, on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice after a short but brave battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Marguerite Grenier (née Sivrais). She was raised and loved as their own daughter by the late Elie and Edouida (Louise) Sivrais (née Cyr). Dear sister of Gérard Grenier (Lucie). She was the loving and devoted wife and life partner to Cyrille Richer for the last 35 years. She was the beloved mother of Lise and son Marc (Chantal). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Julie Régnier (Dany), Mélissa Régnier (Sean), Emilie and David. Louise was also the proud great grandmother of Séville, Rose and Henri. She was also cherished by Cyrille’s children and grandchildren; Roger (Sharon), Justin and Stephanie. She will also be remembered by her nephews Patrick and Antoine her dear friends Rejeanne, Judy, Pat, Simone, Michel, Jeanine and too many more to name. Louise worked for many years at the Boardwalk Bingo where she had many friends. She loved to go to the casino and had much luck in her winnings. Her final days were spent at the most beautiful and peaceful place Maison McCulloch Hospice. As per her wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME. Mass in presence of her ashes will be celebrated at Ste-Anne-des-pins Church Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice can be made by cheque only or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
