Avis de décès pour Gabrielle Belzile

BELZILE, Gabrielle (née Démoré)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday May 16th 2017 at 85 years of age. She was the beloved wife of late Amédée Belzile and daughter of late parents Joseph Démoré and Caroline (née Richer). Loving mother of Richard Belzile (Suzanne), Annyse Poulson (Barry) both of Sudbury, Gilles Belzile (Lise) of Hanmer and Liette Belzile of Montreal. Predeceased by her son Jean-Yves Belzile and by all of her brothers and sisters. She was the last standing “Mohican” of her clan—a proud combatant until her last breath. Cherished grandmother of Laura-Lynn (Andrew) Lise, Julie and predeceased Lee Ann —grandmother of Kaleb and Treysun. After retiring from the civil service, Gabrielle enjoyed her retirement in West Palm Beach Florida for 30 years with her husband. They spent their winters keeping busy and being social bees by doing all sorts of activities with their friends. They had a great life together that few will ever know. She was also a dedicated member of the Lady of Auxiliary Local 5005, Daughters of Isabella, the Club d’Age d’Or of Hanmer and a volunteer for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Department in WPB. She was multi-talented, creative and artistic with varied interests such as entertaining, dancing and singing. She had a great sense of style and fashion and always looked her best. But most importantly, she was an exceptional caregiver to her husband, family and friends. She was always there to help and support others in their moments of need, sadness, grieve or ill health. Her verve for life and that “joie de vivre” that was so contagious will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd Sudbury on Tuesday May 23rd 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 24th2017 at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church in Hanmer.
