The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, June 12th, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Son of late Aldoria Lalande and Rosanna Lalande (née Taillefer). Loving father of Randall Lalande (Judith), Judith Lalande, Michael Lalande (Dorota), Suzanne Scott (Terry) and Gary Lalande (Sharon).Predeceased by his siblings Irène Brunette, Albert Lalande and Gerald Lalande. Loving grandfather of Mathieu (Amy), Amanda (Angelo), Julien (Meaghan), Joelle (Phil), Jillian (Bernie), Jamie ( Nicole ), Nicholas (Melody), Ian (Lynzy), Timothy (Kassandra), Alexander, Justin (Winter), Stephane (Randee), Jacob (Anne), Maxime (Evan) and great-grandfather to 26 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Leo was a well known business man for many years in the hospitality industry. Upon retirement, he enjoyed travelling and wintering in Florida. He loved family gatherings, golfing and the odd adventurous fishing trip. Many thanks to Dr.Jacques, Dr.Pearce, Dr.Ishak and all those who provided excellent service in the past year at Pioneer Manor. A very special thank you to Aline who faithfully acted as a personal caregiver and became a close friend. At Leo’s request a private family visitation will be held Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Boul. Lasalle, Sudbury, followed by a private funeral service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel.
