It is with utmost sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Paul Le Breton, February 4, 1932 - June 18, 2017 at Health Sciences North, after a short illness. Son of the late Edmond Le Breton and late Lucille Chiasson of Six Road, NB. Predeceased by his first wife Lauza Mallet (2007). He is survived by his special friend Claudette Sylvestre. He leaves behind his son Edmond (Mona) of Val Caron, daughter Theresa Le Breton of Sturgeon Falls, 6 grandchildren Hayden, Ashley, late Kristin Rose, Kaylee, Corissa, Justin, 4 great-grandchildren Zander, Kailyn, Jason and Everleigh. Survived by 5 brothers Alfred (late Mignonne) of North Bay, Edmond (Celine), Albert (Rita), Gilbert (Réjeanne), Amédée (Rita) all of Gauvreau, NB and late Guy (Alexandria) and 1 sister Elianne Richardson (Roger) of Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Ontario and New Brunswick; also his extended family, Monique Welton (Doug), Danielle Vincent (Marc), Roxane Sylvestre (Pierre), 8 granddaughters, Renée, Andrée, Manon, Maxine, Valérie, Karissa, Danika, Morgan and 1 great-granddaughter Sophie. J.P. retired from INCO after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed dancing at Lockerby Legion with Claudette and the company of many new friends. We would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences North. Cremation will take place. At J.P.’s request there will be no visitation. Service and burial will be held in New Brunswick at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
