The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury surrounded by her beloved family after a brief illness, Monday, July 3rd, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her first husband Joseph “Joe Fat” Laprairie. Beloved wife of Luc Laroche. Daughter of late Firmin and Bertha (née Lavoie) Leblanc. Loving mother of Marc (Cynthia) Laprairie, Luc (Angela) Laprairie, Monique (Jacques) Lafrenière, Nicole (Tom) Hewlett, Joey (Carol) Laprairie and step daughter Michelle Laroche. Cherished grandmother of Dinah, Lisabeth, Karen, Derek, Eric, Réanne, Michael, Stephan, Vincent, Danika, Kurt, Amanda and Jessica, great grandmother of 13, and one on the way. Sister of Jeanne D’Arc (late George) Duhaime. Predeceased by her brothers Aurèle (late Doris), Gérald and Fernand (Gracia) and by her sister Yvette Lacarte (late Eugene). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday July 11th, 2017 at Notre Dame de la Merci Church, Coniston at 11 a.m. The family invites friends and relatives to arrive at the church after 10 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME.
