The family announces with great sorrow, his passing at Pioneer Manor, Sunday, July 30th, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Husband of the late Yvette (née Prevost) Lemieux. Son of the late Léonie (née Audette) and the late Napoleon Lemieux. Cherished father of Richard (Danielle), Rejean (Denise), Gaston (Jeanine), Paul (Jocelyne), Roger (Angele) and Daniel (Aline). Dear brother of Lucille (late Paul) Richer, Denise (Lionel) Piché, Cecile (late Hervé) Prevost, Sr. Aline Lemieux, Gérard (Angele) Lemieux, Noëlla (late Fern) Forget, Marie (Claude) Clement, Yvette (Jean-Pierre) Carrier and Rolande (Raymond) Leduc. Predeceased by his brothers Hector Lemieux, François Lemieux and by one sister Paulette Rheault. Will be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He leaves a lasting legacy in his music and love of the great outdoors. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Thursday August 3rd, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. also Friday, August 4th from 8a.m. to 10a.m. A funeral service will follow Friday, August 4th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Anne des Pins Church, Sudbury.
