It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 in Sudbury at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Stanley Laurin and the late Justine (née L'Esperance) Laurin. Beloved husband of Rachel (née Landry) Laurin. Loving Father of Norman (Ann) Laurin, Lise (Jean-Guy) Coulombe, Nicole Cantin (Marc Mainville), and Julie (Carey) Lundrigan. Cherished grandfather of Robbie (Stephanie) Laurin, Bradley Laurin, Jackie Rood, Eric Cantin (Maxime Vaillant), Brandon Mainville, Joël Desmarais, Benjamin and Andrew Coulombe, Connor Lundrigan, Dylan and Danielle Isaacs. Cherished great grandfather of Andrew Laurin, Blake Laurin and Brayden Laurin. Loving brother of Richard (Brenda) Laurin, Irène (Richard) Jolicoeur, Lionel (Judy) Laurin, Roger (Hélène) Laurin, and Ronald (Lee) Laurin. Raymond will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations can be made by cheque to Diabetes Canada or to Pioneer Manor. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium Chelmsford.
