Jean-Marc Litalien passed away on Monday, September 19th 2017, at the age of 64, at his home in Sudbury Ontario. Jean-Marc is preceded in death by his father, Paul-Émile Litalien. He is lovingly remembered by his dear mother, Marguerite Litalien (born Faubert), his sisters Danielle (husband Maurice Lajeunesse), Lise (husband Louis Maranger), Jeannine (husband Peter Derro) and Marie (husband Louis Losier), and his brothers, Pierre-Paul, Jules and Robert, and loving nieces and nephews and the rest of his family and friends.
Jean-Marc enjoyed being in nature and was often inspired to create art by his surroundings. Quite the eclectic artist, he enjoyed breathing new life into found objects that adorned his small home. Jean-Marc will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, for his concerns for the environment but mostly for his passionate discussions on social issues. He truly believed we could live in a better world by aspiring to be more inclusive, kind and compassionate.
At Jean-Marc’s request, there were no visitations scheduled and a small service was held with his family yesterday, October 6th, 2017 at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (130-43 Elm Street, Sudbury, ON P3C 1S4).
