The family announces with sadness his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Husband of Pauline Meehan (née Lavoie). Son of the late William and the late Anna (née O’Connor) Meehan. Loving father of Carol Ann (Jacques Dequanne), Dale (Gabby), Darlene, Shanna (Robert McNichol), Tracy (Roger Trueman), Tammy (Dan Belanger), Pamela (Stephane Grenon) and Robert. Dear brother of Roseanne Empey of Marmora. Predeceased by his siblings Leo, William Jr. (Bill) and Mary. Cherished grandfather to Denis, Julie, Shane, Megan, Melanie, Robyn, Tasha, Devyn, Justin, David, late Branden and late Angelika. Great-grandfather to Kaeley, Ashlyn, Mackenzy, Payton, Chase, Ryder, Farron, Iliza, Salem, Lillie, Vance and Paige. Sadly missed by his canine companion Lassie. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at his camp in Benny and being with his family. His great passion was photography. Retired from Falconbridge after 25 years. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium, Chelmsford. Donations can be made by cheque to a charity of your choice.
