It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing at Health Sciences North on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Daughter of the late Patrick and Marie-Ange (née Côté) Tremblay. Beloved wife of 53 years to Réjean Fontaine. Loving mother of Pierre (Darlene) and Luc (Lynne). Cherished grandmother of Stéphanie, Daniel, Patrick and Valérie. Dear sister of Laurette, Edith, Ange-Marie, André, Marie-Marthe, Marcel, France, Aline, François, Lucie, Jacinthe and Nicole. Predeceased by her sister Thérèse and her brother Paul. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Georgette will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends. She will also be remembered for her great generosity, good humor and kind heart. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Anne des Pins Church, Sudbury. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer Society.
