It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Devoted wife and soulmate of Jerry Falcioni of Sudbury. Daughter of the late Oscar Boileau and the late Veronica (née Pandke) Hauser (late Orville Hauser). Beloved mother of Natalie (Gerry Tarnopolsky) and Andrea (late Paul Falcioni) both of Sudbury. Cherished Noni of Dante and Grace. Dearest sister of Pauline van der Grinten (late Gordon) of Fort Erie. Daughter-in-law of the late Gelasio and Maria (née Camilucci) Falcioni. Sadly missed by her in-laws Barbara Wicks (late Ron) of Brampton and Anne Shrubsole (Frank) of Holland Landing. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Angela Valentino (late Duffy). Lovingly remembered by her special friend Norm Blanchard and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will be missed by her grandcat Calie and was predeceased by her grandbird Benny. Claire was deeply devoted to her faith and to her family. She fed our souls and our bodies. Her legacy is every life she touched with her beautiful smile, zest for life, infinite love, strength, compassion and an infectious laugh that echoed for miles. Special thanks to Dr. Terada, Dr. Reich, the ICU Doctors Dr. Nalla, Dr. Luison, Dr. Sauve, Dr. Kerr, the ICU Nurses Katie A., Anna, Tina, Katie C., Liz, Penny, Nat, Claudette, the ICU Respiratory Therapists and the entire ICU team. Special thanks to Fr. Peter Moher, Fr. Larry Rymes and Fr. Denis Vaiz. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, June 29, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury. Cremation to follow at the Cooperative Crematorium.
