It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, Claude Henri Lavallée, son of Donat Lavallée (predeceased), and Bertha Simoneau (predeceased). Left to mourn his passing are his best friend, Lucille, his son Donald and his daughter Jeannette Bergeron (Richard) and his grand-daughters Cassandre Davidson (Ben) and Francine Bergeron. He also leaves behind his sister Yvette Richer (Roy, predeceased) and brothers-in-law Réal Henri (Gilberte, predeceased) (Lynn), Richard Henri (Claire, predeceased), Robert Henri (Rachel) and André Henri (Dave) as well as his sisters-in-law Fleurette Rioux (Réné, predeceased), Nicole Brown, Carole Carrier and Bev Henri. He was loved by a great many nieces and nephews. His remaining cousins Lorraine, Diane, Jackie and Mary will also miss him dearly. Many friends will miss Claude.
He greatly enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors, camping and fishing with his children and later, with his granddaughters. He always looked forward to his annual fishing trip and traveling North America. He spent over 40 years in the arenas playing hockey, following his son play hockey, his daughter figure skate or working various functions as a security guard.
The family sincerely thank all the dedicated health care workers who cared for him at Health Science North & McCulloch Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted with COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the McCulloch Hospice.
