It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Alfred and late Dora (née Pilon) Lalancette. Beloved wife of the late William Francoeur. Loving mother of Denis (Cathy) and Liane Ross (Normand). Dear sister of Thérèse Lachance (late Fernand). Predeceased by her siblings Lucien (late Anita), Aline (late Wilfred) (late Hubert), Colombe Jones, Alfreda Sauver (late John) and Gilbert. Cherished grandmother of Mélanie, Shannon, Patrick and great-grandmother of Tyson and Stéphanie. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lorraine enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, bingo and spending an evening at the casino. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. The service will be available via livestream.
