It is with great sorrow that the family announces Rudy’s passing at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Aline (née Coté). Son of the late Émile and the late Aline (née Maltais) Normandeau. Beloved father of Jocelyne St. Louis (Arthur), Roger (Christine), Carole Moland (Eric), Marc (Yudit) and Joanne Lecour Normandeau. Loving grandfather of Ronald, Michelle (Collin), Jeff (Sarah), Darryl (Marsha), Amy, Candice (Nick), Andrea (Chris), Kimberly (Raymond), Scott (Nathalie) and Stephen (Caroline). Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren Maya, Allissa, Emma, Julia, Grant, Maeve, Victoria, Jordan and Connor. Predeceased by his great-granddaughter Jorja. Rudy was a well-deserved retiree of INCO Mines. His passion was his camp on Ashigami Lake where he spent joyful times with family, fishing and playing bocce. Rudy and Aline spent 18 wonderful years in Florida to escape the cold. His family was very dear to him and he always made an effort to talk to anyone he met, no one was a stranger to him. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
